March 1, 2006 -- Ferdinand, INNearly three years ago, Seufert Construction partnered with Forrest Lucas and his company, Lucas Oil Products, on the design and construction of their expansion to Corydon, IN.  The Blending Facility project consisted of nearly 100,000 sf of new construction that included office, warehouse, production and a covered canopy area.  Lucas, which is headquartered in Corona, CA relied on Seufert’s design team to evaluate various building and site layouts before moving forward with the construction of the Butler building(s).  Seufert self-performed the general construction and supervised all other aspects of the project.

Earlier this month, it was announced that Lucas had won the naming rights for the new Indiana stadium in downtown Indianapolis. Beginning with the 2008 season, Lucas Oil Stadium will be home to the Indianapolis Colts, the NCAA men’s and women’s Final Four tournaments and other major sports events.  “We were drawn to the Colts organization because their leadership has the same high standards we embrace,” said Forrest Lucas, president and CEO of Lucas Oil Products.

Seufert Construction feels that those same high standards are seen throughout its organization and is proud to have had the opportunity to work with the Lucas team as they have expanded their presence in Indiana.
