Seufert Construction Recognized for Safety Training Efforts

April 17, 2006 -- Ferdinand, IN – Seufert Construction, a design/build contractor located in Ferdinand, IN, has recently been recognized by ABC of Indiana for its effort in promoting a safe workplace for its employees and the customers it serves.  The organization presented Seufert with the Gold award in S.T.E.P. (Safety Training and Evaluation Process), a program which allows contractors to evaluate their safety measures against proven successful safety management systems across the country by offering a reliable benchmark for ABC members looking to become the “best of the best” in safety within the construction industry.

Evaluations for the S.T.E.P. program are completed through submission of annual safety performance data as well as twenty key components of safety self-assessment. Seufert excelled in each and every area and received the highest level award possible for a first-time submission.
