Staying Ahead of the Curve

Technology can be overwhelming and time-consuming to learn and adapt to, however, in the end it always seems to benefit & move you one step ahead of the competitor. At Seufert Construction, we are always looking for new and creative ways to make our jobs easier & customers satisfied.  We are excited to continue to use new technology to keep us ahead of our competitors.

The use of a 360 degree camera is a device that you set in the middle of a room and it will rotate to capture a photo from the floor to the ceiling of the entire room. This tool is helpful and time-saving for our project managers & estimators as they are planning & making decisions along the construction timeline by offering a view of the entire facility in 1 snapshot. No more are the days of forgetting to get that one angle of a room and needing to visit the job site yet again or bother your employee to capture and image and send over.

We recently purchased a time-lapse camera to shoot footage at a job site to create a short 1-2min video of the progress of the project. Over the course of 7 months, we took snapshots approximately every couple hours and combined those snapshots together to make a progressive 1 minute video.  It then is used as a marketing tool for ourselves and our customers.

Drones are becoming more and more popular and also saving employees time from traveling back and forth from a project to capture footage and layouts. Drone footage can also be used as a marketing tool to publicize the completion of a project & capture unique aerial views that showcase the quality & vastness of a building or structure.
