Construction Safety Week 2022 training, new safety equipment and much more!

May 4, 2022 We are gearing up for Construction Safety Week 2022 with activities, training and safety gear for our staff planned. Seufert Construction knows that our people are our most valuable asset and we work hard every day to make sure that Safety is everyone's #1 priority. Our Leadership team completes jobsite safety inspections and our Foreman host scheduled "toolbox talks" to review safety guidelines and action plans with our field staff and subcontractors. We also conduct in-office training and bring in 3rd party providers to keep us up-to-date on the latest policies and procedures regarding safety. All of our field personnel are, at minimum, OSHA10 certified and our new hires have a full day of onboarding safety training that they complete before being assigned to a project. Every field staff member receives new company-branded safety gear and apparel in addition to their company-provided equipment and tools.

For Construction Safety Week 2022, our Seufert ELITE committee, which is established and dedicated to the health and wellness of all our staff, has purchased new safety vests for use in the field as well as moisture-wicking cool sport towels for the upcoming warm temperatures. We also are hosting a "Driving Safety" training in the office with our company insurance carrier going over safe driving steps and tips for our crews and staff who travel to various jobsites throughout the Tri-State area. We truly value the safety and well-being of our staff and want to make sure, at the end of the day, every employee goes home in better shape than they came to work in. Seufert ELITE also has healthy "challenges" and activities planned for 2022 that will hopefully incorporate small changes that we can all make on a daily basis that will keep our staff healthy for years to come! Finally, we have provided our staff with Construction Safety Week At-Home family activities as well to help educate and incorporate safety tips that we can all complete at home.
