Carpenters make up the largest building trades occupation in the industry and those with all-around skills are high in demand. Carpenters are involved in many kinds of construction activities from building highways and bridges to installing kitchen cabinets. Carpenters construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, steel, concrete & many other materials.
Seufert Construction partners with the Patoka Valley Career & Tech program to offer internships to local high school students to gain experience on the job site. In addition, there are other options for interested craftsman to gain certifications at regional programs through Vincennes University & the Associated Builders & Contractors of Indiana/Kentucky.
